Radwan Ziadeh participated in the Syria Peace Talks in Geneva (2016) as a representative of Syrian civil society and was one of the major players in the “Damascus Spring” call for reform. He is the director of the Damascus Center for Human Rights Studies in Syria and executive director of the Syrian Center for Political and Strategic Studies in Washington DC. He is a senior analyst with the Arab Center Washington DC. He was formerly the managing editor of the Transitional Justice Project in the Arab World and the head of the Syrian Commission for Transitional Justice. He has testified before the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva and US Congress. He helped establish the Syria Relief Network (the largest network of Syrian Humanitarian NGOs) and the Syria Democracy Foundation.
